Organizmo's Ecological Restoration Workshops (Talleres Restauración Ecológica) at its Centro de Regeneración in Tenjo, Cundinamarca introduce participants to conservation and natural-capital restoration practices alongside agroecological food-production systems—agroecology, soil regeneration, permaculture, biodynamic agriculture, ecosystem-pollinator relationships, and food-health relationships.
The Huerta Bosque (Forest Garden) encounter, developed with the support of rearc institute, is a two-day immersion beginning with a guided walk through the Andean forest restoration process, followed by hands-on soil work, planting, and harvesting.
Facilitated by agroecologist William Fonque, environmental administrator Carlos Eduardo Dávila, artist and researcher Rafael Duarte-Uriza, and naturalist and environmental consultant Mateo Hernández Schmidt, the workshop is held at Organizmo's Centro de Formación e Investigación en Regeneración y Saberes Interculturales in Tenjo, Cundinamarca.
