rearc institute invites you to join the second iteration of the biannual symposium program dedicated to exploring architectures of planetary well-being, which we understand as ongoing practices of custodianship and care towards our socio-ecological environments. Architectures of planetary well-being offer an approach to understanding the frameworks that connect these systems, in turn allowing us to imagine the relational change needed to move beyond extractive paradigms.

The in-person gathering will be a program across two evenings, in collaboration with practitioners from a range of disciplinary perspectives—including architects, designers, environmental organizers, and artists—to consider themes that have emerged through and since our first symposium in February, particularly in regard to material realities and processes and our collective understandings of well-being and grief.

An event soundscape is available to play, in the menu bar at the top of the page.
